That is something very serious! Such a level of politics and foul play is not good. Thailand is such a nice country then why are they imposing unwanted rules? Corruption eats up fast! This scenario is alarming for sure. Hope for some good solution.
i think i'll go live somewhere outside of thailand and see what it is like. I know that vietnam is easier and cheaper, but that's not to say that it is better. For one thing, i can't speak any of the language and I am not going to learn another 1-country language. Even if it sucks, at least the year will be cheaper and I can maybe come back to Thailand if they decide to be more "nice" about their visas in the future.
That's a cool plan, although waiting for a country to understand is not a safe side, I mean the sense of settlement won't arise within if you would wander in some country and other for a year, Finding a suitable country foreever will be a nice plan too!
