Rod Rosenstein threatened the House Intelligence Committee members
Put parties, politics, and personalities aside. just ask yourself:
Should a government official threaten those who provide oversight of them?
If they do, what should happen to that government official?
I ask you this because Greg Jarrett reported last night that:
I can tell you a congressional source tells me that Rod Rosenstein in a meeting three weeks ago threatened Chairman Nunes and members of Congress he was going to subpoena their texts and messages because he was tired of dealing with the intel committee. That’s threats and intimidation.
If this is true, we have the Deputy Attorney General of the United States threatening to obtain the private text messages of a congressional committee that is investigating potential wrong doings by Rosenstein, the DOJ and FBI. What would Rosenstein do with the texts if he obtained them - presumably have his investigators search them for dirt on Rosenstein's congressional overseers.
What sort of example is this setting for his underlings at the DOJ and FBI? It is ok to subpoena private communications of people on your enemies list?
If this report is true - I do not see how Rosenstein can be allowed to remain in his position. He must be terminated immediately.
