It's all a game.

I can tolerate Republicans crying over how mean everyone is. I expect it. These people commit acts of stochastic terrorism for years then freak out the moment someone decides to fire back.

What I can't tolerate are Democrats who, yesterday morning, wouldn't shut up about Project 2025 being the literal end of the world as we know it, suddenly wringing their hands over the barest shedding of bodily fluids on the podium. It proves they don't actually think that Trump and his ilk are an existential threat to democracy, anymore than they actually think things like climate change are a threat.

This is a game to them. It's theatre. The moment someone comes along and breaks kayfabe, they snap out of it and offer their thoughts and prayers. You think Biden and Harris are gonna suffer if Trump's plans come to fruition? You think the elites who are sternly wagging their fingers at the people of this nation, telling them to just "vote harder," will be the ones to feel the boot of fascism come crashing down?

It's only real for you and me, friend. Remember that. Remember that we'll be the ones to suffer, and our loved ones and our children. If the time comes, if the masses march in the street, if the demonstrations and the riots come to the White House lawn, if the secret police come to your door, if the worst fears of a generation come to pass, what will you do?
