Have Hollywood and Washington Switched Roles? It Feels LIke We Are Living In The Twilight Zone

I just thought of an insight that makes the strange atmosphere of hatred and confusion a bit clearer. Movie stars seem to care more about political causes than film making. (I wish they would focus more on their art, because most Hollywood films are borderline unwatchable because they are so bad and unoriginal.)

Politicians seem to often be obsessed with the media circus and silly distractions than real issues. It is very peculiar to see. Hopefully this strange period will subside and we can get back to the way things used to be - judging actors on their acting skills and politicians on how much they help(or hinder) the lives of their constituents.

In summary, it seems that Hollywood is as political as ever, as Washington seems as entertaining as ever. (Or as horrifying as ever.)

A final thought - If the Trump presidency was a movie, would it be a drama, a comedy or a horror film?
