This Is Not Good: Air Force didn't report Texas shooter's domestic-violence conviction to federal database, allowing him to buy gunssteemCreated with Sketch.

uh-oh.....

This is really bad. Was this a favor from a friend in the force? an oversight? an error? Oh my.....

So now the narrative of him owning an illegal gun is skewed. The gun he owned was still illegal and he knew it and someone online should have known that when he posted pics of this gun.

But the person that sold him the gun was now likely in the legal right, as he wasn't reported...

The argument is still sound though, gun control would not help. We had all the mechanisms in place to have stopped this guy. In this case, our air force let us down big time! And they are supposedly in charge of cyber-security aren't they???? So they are the same people that should have noticed the pics online then right???

This would only strengthen the argument that this had nothing to do with gun control as we had proper mechanisms in place. It was the Air Force that failed here by not reporting him to the database and pentagon. He should have been being watched by the cyber-security division of the air force and they should have seen the illegal gun he was posting there from...

I love our Air Force and have to assume this was over sight but boy can I still see the favor thing...

BTW, They know the motive now, he was firing at his estranged ex-wife's mother....disgusting that all the innocents got dragged into this...
