Why Jimmy Kimmel is one of the current political voices

Anyone that has been following Jimmy Kimmel for quite some time knows that he is a host of a TV show called: Jimmy Kimmel live! Not only is he a good comedian, but also he has been referring to the political situation, cracked jokes like any other host in the USA...

He even pretended to be campaigning so as to become the vice-president of the United States of America:

However, he has done much more than that after his newborn son had a congenital heart defect and had to undergo open heart surgery. He explains in the following video the frustration he felt when he realised that his son would live because his father makes money, but any other child might not be that lucky. Any other child might have other parents with a lot less money, which means their parents will not be able to pay for the surgery.

I find this truly inspiring. I think it's brave to jeopardise the popularity of the show, regardless of those that will rather have trumpcare than face the hard truth, which is that William “Billy” Kimmel is alive because of his surname. Jimmy Kimmel knows this and wants both republicans and democrats to see this and react. What do you think? Are you a fan of Jimmy too?
