The Scary Edges of the New Age

I grew up in the 1980s. I was taught there weren't conspiracies, that all our spies were overseas Russia. That there was congressional oversight over the military. That we were the good guys, just perfecting our great system. That the bad guys do things like assassinate people and have secret police that lock people away for political reasons. I'm looking for ways to describe the feeling that what I was taught about my country and history are horribly wrong, in a way that may help other frogs boiling in the pot with me that action has to be taken or the pot isn't going to be a very fun place in a few minutes.

Terrence McKenna used something called the "Timewave", that I don't understand well but which is derived from the mathematics derived from the I Ching, to predict that around the year 2012 there would be a whole new epoch beginning. Only now after recent developments am I convinced that it's true. Everything has changed.

Cars don't need gasoline. Renewable Energy is more cost efficient and plentiful. Everyone is connected and having a global conversation, albeit with frequent interference by the elites who own the companies trying to profit from hosting them. Virtual Reality is real.

But there are very dark edge as well, that I believe are causing more and more problems for people who make use of new tech without precautions that maybe no one would have ever thought necessary in a simpler time. Much has come to light, very much, which reinforces the attitude that the institutions that rule us are deeply amoral, unethical, predatory and bent on profits at the expense of all rational precaution. The bill of rights I was taught gave Americans some basic freedoms not available in other countries, is not actually in effect in the country.

For example, turns out what I was assigned to read in high school in the 1990s which assured me that no spies were operating inside the United States, history books and newspweek, were actually the spies themselves operating inside the United States at that very moment, inside my head.

Like how much of a chump was I. But that turned out to be just the beginning of a long chain of similar betrayals at the hand of the people who claim to be protecting us.

Everyone's information has been leaked including whereabouts since you got your first smartphone. Everyone accepts that the major corporations that control their life histories can't be trusted. Everyone's credit applications got leaked. Everyone's government security clearance applications got leaked. WPA2 is cracked. Wikileaks is compromised, even the most high profile leakers may be limited hangouts. The Panama and Paradise papers prove the wealthy hoard their money rather than letting it trickle down, and just how vast their secret networks truly are. Pizzagate and numerous other scandals involving people using their power to abuse children show us what really happens behind the scenes, they have an island with obviously occult symbols writ large.

We know twin towers had to be demolished and their destruction could not have been due to planes. We know the Israeli Mossad infiltrated the government to prevent investigation and coverup what was really done, as well as rigging the buildings with thermite. We know Dick Cheney arranged for our defenses to be deactivated. We know the 2000 election was won by illegal means, as was the entire appointment of Neil Gorusch.

We know George HW Bush secured Reagan's victory in 1980 by committing treason to have the hostages held longer and to bungle the rescue attempt. We know the CIA deals drugs inside the United States. We know everyone who has pointed this out has either died under mysterious circumstances or been economically starved. We know the police legally kill black people, legally plant evidence on anyone they want, confiscate peoples property without legal justification and spy on everyone in any way they want without oversight. We know a completely different law applies to rich people than poor people. We know what happens if we peacefully gather and petition our overlords to be nicer. We know peacefully gathering itself has become a crime, and that anyone who proposes to do so in public will be infiltrated by secret police.

We know there is a multi trillion dollar permanent war going on while entire cities in America are unable to provide services that were taken for granted 100 years ago.

We know the same spy agencies control all of our mass media such that these things are never, if ever, pointed out. Or such that anyone who believes the truth is presented as a caricature.

Any actual presentation of the record of the American Military Industrial Conspiracy that controls our corporations, our media, our alleged represented officials gives us every reason to fear them and perceive them not as our protectors, but as a force which enslaves us for permanent war and sees us only as a disposable resource only of use towards their grand mystery plan. Over and over American citizens have been sacrificed to keep these secrets or simply as unfortunate bystanders.

Meanwhile the list of stupid yet tragic 'shootings' and 'bombings' by seasoned lunatics who always seem to have been in contact with elements of the police state at some prior point in their lives, grows by the month. In nearly every case, Pulse, Boston, San Bernadino, Aurora, Virgiia State, Texas, Las Vegas, there is evidence contrary to the story released to explain the event. Some appear to be coverups for actual gunfights between factions of spies, like Las Vegas. Others remind me of the movie Invasion USA, where an army of cubans in disguise start shooting up hamburger stands at random in order to further their agenda. Only they aren't cubans and the means by which any government could pretend to be another and any evidence could be falsified, and any concocted narrative can be floated to so many millions of people in three minutes of airport cnn that no matter what other evidence is eventually released it will never, ever allow for any other story even if its more true to be accepted by enough people to make any difference.

The events in history recent American mass killings most resemble is Operation Gladio, which is how the United States maintained social control over the European NATO countries during the cold war. All of those communist gangs running amok were actually the CIA actively thwarting the ability of any peaceful political element from gaining power or even have space to speak. The same appears to be happening in the United States because there continues to be an obvious question, the most obvious open question in American history perhaps:

Why exactly does the United States need to have troops outside of its border right now? If the entire point of world war 2, the result of all of the fighting was the implementation of international laws to prevent wars of aggression, and American culture worships its role in world war 2, then why is the United States fighting wars of aggression in 50 places in the world at once under absurd pretexts?

This is the question that must never be asked. As long as there is some or another violent tragedy to discuss, there will never be time to ask it. This is yet another horrid cultural impact of 24 hour news, it allows any single event to distract virtually every other conversation in the country. The website reddit has to tell many lies and break all of its own rules to allow the obvious manipulation of its 'front page' from ever presenting any of its ideas. The most authoritarian and mission-counter actions of reddit have been those things it has had to do to prevent conspiracy discussions from 'taking over' the entire site like they were once doing.

Yet look today at r/politics and you will see only WashingtonPost and NYT articles investigating blatant conspiracies. Yet still, there is no big conspiracy! Believe them! There is still a center, normal world, where we can all pretend history didn't happen! And that ignorance is strength!

These, the people who fabricated everything possible and silenced all opposition as these permanent wars in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan were started. Who pretend the United States has nothing to do with the expanding poppy harvest in Afghanistan. Who pretend the vast evidence of elite child abuse networks doesn't exist.

So show me a part of America I should like. Show me some part of our extensive hagiography that hasn't been betrayed or shown to be a lie. Even Pearl Harbor is now known to be a fake. My great uncle told me it was so in the early 1990s and I didn't believe him for a long while, but it turns out he was right. I didn't even consider that Israel might turn out to be an enemy or a parasite until 2005 or so, but then every event of history since and everything I have learned about the actual history of Israel has turned out to be morally bankrupt, aggressively expansionist and extremely deceptive. They have used their victimhood in the holocaust(tm) to enable the holocaust for people all over the middle east, their intentions for the palestinians are clearly genocidal. They want 0 palestinians in palestine, they are just arguing over how to do it and biding their time.

I will change my mind about this when I see any legitimate attempt at a long term solution and returns the settlements they have been building that were created by fiat in contravention of the treaty, I am told this is impossible so that is where we are at.

This statement may be the most dangerous thing you can say in the united states.

So who wants to be the next person to die for America? Who wants to kill for America? Who wants to just sell out the people in Flint Michigan to the people in Tel Aviv? Who wants to sign on the dotted line for the next million Americans to be enslaved and sold to a credit agency in a 'Tranch.' To work in the mansion of some transnational mobster? To have your 18 year old daughter lured into a life of prostitution.

Who wants to sell the bullets to the next person who is going to kill themselves because they can't afford medical bills or an education? Or because they can't get a job or be an artist because some Israeli knows they aren't aboard with or ignorant of the zionist agenda? Because corporations can now read all your social media and they actually know who is still willing to believe all the bullshit and who is 'out there.'

Are there any real Americans left? Did everybody join some mercenary corp in a gated community? Did the rest decide to just be muggers, lobbyists and prostitutes? Did everyone sign up for a cubicle and a box and some radical conformity and not tell me?

I signed up for a multicultural, multi-religious, huge debate about everything to prosper and protect our children, to preserve our constitution and borders, to peacefully explore and study the universe. But now I see all these people taking over who are betraying those principles while congratulating themselves, and how can this not presage the downfall of a civilization?

Let's throw everything that was working out the window!

If I could speak to all of my fellow Americans, as if they would all read something I wrote, but we can all dream can't we? Here's what I'd say:

They are trying to make us hate each other as a means to further enslaving us, and take everything from us. Our differences are not that great. I am speaking to every race and every class. The Russians, Chinese, Israelis, Mobsters and Banksters all want Americans to be kept in a constant state of near shock and information overload so that we can be tricked like a herd of decadent sheep into running off any cliff we are pointed at. Or simply ceding the command of our herd to the pack of wolves who have been biding their time while we squander any justifiable military and economic dominance we may have ever had or deserved. There are plenty of people around the world who while smiling at American tourists can't wait for the day when we will be shamed and defeated. The most outcast person in the most remote and failing economic region of the country has a much better chance in the long future getting along with other americans as they do finding some happy home in china or russia. The most bitter, sociopathic serial assasin for the cia and mossad has a much better chance of surviving in the long term if civil society in the united states is preserved by us all getting along and getting back to constitutional law, the basis of all our successes. (If you think a dictatorship is best, then you can't possibly be an american so gtfo)(that said, i may gtfo)

Is there any place here for someone who isn't crazy? Is there any way out? Is there any way to expand the way in? Can anyone who doesn't have money make any more than it takes to subsist here anymore? Can the wealthy elite just do anything they want to a non-elite and get away with it? What is the goal then if not to make a better country? Is everything locked down because those who have the most information know even worse calamity approaches? Is it already like in the disaster movie when no one can afford a backhoe because everyone is digging a survival shelter in the backyard?

But also emotionally, making it difficult to make new friends which turns out to be the operational modus of the new age, isolation, not the once-envisioned radical unity.

The only thing I can say for sure is that it is not going to get better if we keep doing what we are doing. Even this essay is part of my commitment to loudly oppose the current direction and loudly propose alternative ways to think about things.

It is, after all, no sign of health to be well-adapted to a sick system. (ty krishnamurti)
