Many of you know that im not a politics kinda guy.... be it on this platform, my country , your country, or anything else for that matter.... politics is , in my humble opinion, smoke and mirrors, a PR shit show designed to fool the masses into thinking/ believing that the particular politician "really cares about the people and will be fighting your YOUR rights".
They present themselves as "honest abe's", honorable people, mature people who have higher morals and ethics than anyone you may know... reality of the situation is its complete bull crap. they scheme, lie, double cross, hoodwink and bamboozle their way into whatever serves them best.... and tha is usually an agenda that goes against all they have claimed they will do...
Literally did the opposite...
And if that is not enough to get you going on how our taxes are being spent to be lied to, how about this one.... "madam speaker" Bronwyn Bishop was exposed for using a helicopter to travel 80km to get to a function... cos town cars and limos are for peasants... lol. but maybe a bit more on that in another post.
But lets get into the point of this post, in some of the conversations i have had on Aussie politics i have stated that "i have seen more maturity from 1st grade classes", part of that statement was leaning on the fact that during the "parliament question time" , which is televised, you can see our countries leaders act like children, making gestures at each other, blowing raspberries across the room, and name calling of the highest order.
When i mentioned the "antics" that go in the capital, by the countries leaders, i was met with considerable disbelief, but i can assure you that this is the current state of affairs, it is the "norm" and it is televised for all to see... While this incident took place in 2014 (i believe), not much has changed since then... and a dig around the webisphere on the subject just fortifies the claims being put forward.
Is it any wonder how i have reached my standpoint on gov. and politics in general ? lolz
I have no faith or respect for our Australian politicians. They are not for the people at all. Maybe I should stop now or this comment will keep going, lol.
feel free to open fire !!! lolz, the truth is that this is how governments operate world wide.... while there may be some of the semantics which appear to make them different, laws, rules, social constructs etc. its just another version of the same thing.
hopefully we start seeing it for what it is and stop engaging with it... but until then we can rest easy knowing we have the illusion of choice ;)
