Amen Greg. So many points; you nailed it again. Young people have no idea of the concept of "limited war" after WWII and prior to Korea. This was created by world governments and special groups in many countries. Eisenhower knew about war and saw this becoming another WWI, exactly what limited war implies. Also thanks for your comment regarding reading. It is a lost art. Reading kills time, builds the mind, and relaxes the spirit. Also this is why I commend you for the comment. Without reading at least 7 different autobiographies from Joseph Owen, Matthew Ridgway, and others, I would have no concept of limited war or what the hell you were teaching. Thanks for the lesson.
