What is it to be or not to be an American?

Is there any difference between Religious bigotry and Political bigotry? What about religious discrimination and political discrimination? "You're not welcome here anymore if you support the President of the United States of America"? from "You have to sit at the back of the Bus..." or "You are not allowed to ride the bus..." if you expressed support for the GOP, Republicans, Conservatives, or Pres. Trump?

Freedom of belief, thought, idea, expression, Speech, and of the Press? What is it to be or not to be an American?
