My Predictions: From the Collapse of the EU to the Crowdbased Government on Mars

 I'm going to make a bold prediction now:

Governments worldwide will continue to be horribly inefficient, close sourced, and centralized until we can start a colony on Mars. The American constitutional experiment was only possible due to high stakes and long distance from major European powers. The next constitution will be written in open sourced code.Once we go interplanetary, we can truly start the experimentation in truly more efficient, antifragile, and decentralized forms of consensus governance.

The solution will probably involve blockchains, machine learning, AI, crowdfunding, crowdsourcing, open source, basic income, and new voting methods like futarchy.

Taxation will become decentralized crowdfunded projects on blockchains. Everything become voluntary. No more coercive 51% attacks.

Policy decisions will be assisted by machine learning and AI. However. Integration with human participation is necessary to prevent various DAO related exploits. Smart contracts will be law, but our current form of them is still not ready yet. There needs to be better integration with human intent and AI.

Voting will be done on a blockchain to prevent voting fraud and incentives will also be based on a prediction market to come up with the best possible weighted solution that involves skin in the game rather than uninformed people without skin in the game voting based on feelings.

Utopias will never truly exist, but this will be evolution in the right direction.

What we are experiencing now is the same as the fall of the Galactic Empire on Trantor in Isaac Asimov's Foundation. The EU is the Empire and we cannot be truly free until we can go to new planet at the edge of civilization, at which time we can restart with a new decentralized government. With machine learning and blockchain technology, we can create an open sourced Prime Radiant project and decrease the span of the dark ages brought about by the collapse of failing centralized governments worldwide.
