Steemit Political Party

I have been thinking about this idea for quite a while. I've always wanted to create a political party or some sort of area to discuss politics. So I have decided I will create a political party on discord and then using steemit as a way to fund and gain awareness. The whole idea is to create almost a mini government in where we create policies and create founding principles, the long term aim is to fund candidates that share our principles and our members of the party.

Now these are long term aims but before that I hope that this will be a great place for political discussion, especially as politics is changing so much and as a society we need to engage in debate because if not we could become very separated by our views.

These are only initial ideas and they can change very drastically:

President: This will be the main leader of the political party, I will hold this position at the start.

Prime Minister: They will be elected by the members of the party and will be in charge of running the party day to day and will also chose the cabinet

• Energy Department:

• Technology Department:

These departments will have leaders that engage in cabinet meetings and development of policy, but will also get five ministers each that can help manage the departments for the party. They vote on all policy, the vote needs a majority and if no majority then president will vote.

Cabinet meetings will take place at least once a week

Rules:

• No abusive or racist language
• Always respect each others opinion
• If you have a complaint use the complaint rule
• To become a member you must donate 1 SBD or STEEM, these funds will be used to finance the party - this rule will only apply once party is fully functional

Bonus/ Aims:

• Anyone who suggests a policy that is passed will receive a 100% upvote from the party
• Will revice funding if you stand as a candidate for your local area, only if you meet criteria (Still to be decided)
• Create a network of modern, adaptable politicians who are more connected to society
• Every cabinet member gets a upvote as a reward for their work.
