China trade surplus with US hits historic high, midst BIGGEST TRADE WAR EVER

China’s trade surplus with the US has grown to a record high of nearly $29 billion in June. 

 China analyst at Nordea Bank in Singapore Amy Zhuang commented

 We expect the trade numbers for July (China) to disappoint since that’s when the first round of US tariffs took effect

 Statistics showed that in the first six months of the year, China’s exports to the US rose 13.6 percent from a year earlier, while imports from the US increased by 11.8 percent. China’s trade surplus with the US over the same period was $133.76 billion, up from $117.51 billion last year. 

 Trump administration released a statement on Tuesday regarding a list of $200 billion worth of Chinese exports that could be subject to new 10-percent tariffs.

Neither Trump nor Xi is backing down on this Trade war, as Trump promises more and more tariffs towards chinese goods, and Xi promises to retaliate with all necessary Tariffs of their own to counter US's. 

Prices of basic goods are going to rise undoubtedly, and the consumers in US and China will be the ones to pay the price. This is the biggest trade war in history so far, with multiple countries facing tariffs as well. Mexico, Canada, the EU, etc.. What will this bring to the world? 

I think its setting the stage for a bigger conflict that is yet to surface, and beyond what normal people like you and me can fathom.... We'll see how it goes in time to come.
