My privately funded long term testing has shown that the leading cause of climate change is the cycles of the sun and the wobble of the earth. I've never met a government that didn't like a new tax.

Follow the money trail. Leads to the why every time.
You may a great point about healthy skepticism. Most of the skepticism I see these days is based upon bias. e.g. dems are automatically skeptical of reps, reps automatically skeptical of dems, but not skeptical of those who share political idealogy. The way my mind works is I tend to be automatically skeptical of anything I hear. I get labelled as a contrarian, a pain in the ass, or worse.
I think Lord Monckton is a false flag. He is really Marty Feldman. An English comedian who faked his own death in 1982. The eyes give him away. Still up voted though because global warming is BS.
