Headlines in 30 Seconds: Ted Cruz Asked to Prove He's Really Human
Tuesday evening a woman identified as Tammy Talpas, approached Senator Ted Cruz and asked him to submit a DNA test to prove he was human.
The exchange was broadcast to YouTube the same evening.
Talpas claims that she has multiple pre-existing conditions and would be "bankrupt" or would die if she was forced into a high-risk health insurance pool.
She asked, "Will you pledge to submit to a DNA test to prove that you're human."
Cruz replied, "Well, ma'am, thank you for that, and one of the great things about our democratic system is we can treat each other with respect and civility,"
The Senator in the past has shown support for insurance companies to split high-risk and lower-risk clients, this was brought up multiple times during the initial process to repeal Obamacare.
Is he human? Probably, but we appreciate the headline all the same.

That quote proves he's not human. Being in a democracy means we can choose to be uncivil to others and remain within the confines of the law.
