FBI 4-0 in showdowns with US president. Will it go 5-0?

The Director of the FBI is not solely responsible to the president, but to the legislative branch as well. By ousting Comey, Trump fired yet another shot at the Deep State. Even though Comey's testimony stated that Trump had no issues with the investigation of Russian tampering with the election, the media has continued to spin Comey's narrative as proof that Trump should be impeached.
The White House does not have a strong history in confrontations with the FBI. Does anyone think this one will end differently?
Celebrating powerful activists who stood up for humanity and were therefor assassinated for it, always seemed more like a rude bullying warning than anything inspirational. Surely there have been other cases of people unafraid to stand up to a corrupt power that have succeeded, I just don't think we here the bragging rights about those as much. So I think it will end differently because this time too many are aware and not having it.
