THE PROBLEM OF LOCAL IN NIGERIA (POLITICS TODAY)

The local government was created to bring the givernment closer to the people.
But the reverse has been the case,due to the wrong processes adopted by the states to be on the bases of appiontment,rather than on the bases of due elections by the electoral board which is the INEC.
Reasons being that there's no funds to pilot the elections.
So many issues have been rise on this,and the people are complaning,though the don't know who to led their plite to and voices of the masses not being heard.
I think government should look into this matter
