Cynthia Nixon running for NY Governor
Cynthia Nixon, An education activist and actress known for her role in Sex and The City has announced her candidacy for New York Governor. The actress will be challenging Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo in this years democratic primary election, Ms. Nixon has never ran for public office and is seeking to unseat an incumbent who has had two terms in office; and is the son of a 3 term governor. Ms. Nixon's campaign states Governor Cuomo as a "Centrist and an Albany insider," and this is quite surprising because both the governor and M.s Nixon are from the Political Left wing, The left wing is nothing but centrists. Cynthia Nixon stated on twitter, "we are now the most unequal state in the entire country, With both incredible wealth and extreme Poverty," I can Contest that that is just not true, In fact I live in New York. I have seen the factories producing, The farms harvesting, and as a founder and owner of a small Company, I know that every one has the same chances to succeed. I started at 14 with pretty much nothing, I'm 20 now and have built an incredible business and will continue to do so.
Governor Coumo has downplayed Ms. Nixon's political challenge in recent days saying, "I'm not nervous about whoever runs, "there'll be people who run. that's called elections,and that's fine". She has tapped as campaign manager Nicole Aro, a former digital strategist for the AFL-CIO.
