How do the KKK get lumped in with the alt-right when their roots are anti-right?

Not that I'm in favor of the right. As a Libertarian, I don't subscribe to either side of the political Stadist spectrum.

I just researched this - the KKK has been on the Left.

From the History Channel:
"Founded in 1866, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic equality for blacks. Its members waged an underground campaign of intimidation and violence directed at white and black Republican leaders. Though Congress passed legislation designed to curb Klan terrorism, the organization saw its primary goal–the reestablishment of white supremacy–fulfilled through Democratic victories in state legislatures across the South in the 1870s."

The Antifa movement are also on the Left!

From [Wikipedia]:(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifa_(United_States))
"Antifa is a left to far-left, anarchist political movement of autonomous, self-described anti-fascist groups in the United States."

We also know the Black Lives Matter movement is on the Left, and gets lots of money from the Left (especially George Soros who admits he worked with the Nazis).

Read this as well from the Washington Times: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jul/14/beware-the-george-soros-zombies/

So, how does the Virginia incident look? It certainly looks like a deliberate attack on the Right, by 3 very Left groups.

Now, I'm not saying there weren't Right wing people involved in violence, I really don't know.

But this whole thing looks suspicious and smells really foul.

I wonder what legislation got passed while we've been distracted with this "incident."
