Yeah, they add a lot of bullshit to it, because they're trying to be "academic".

But you cannot forget that being kind to people, and treating them fairly, is a key to being a good person.

That means doing your best to be a "gear" within the "machine" of society. It makes sense to sell cakes to gay people, or not call a black person a rude name. It's just reasonable to not show negativity towards people in society, no matter what you might feel. Doing otherwise will cause a collapse of society, because people will feel stress over stupid, petty things, and not be able to get work done, or care for a family properly.

You should recognize that people are living their own lives, and although you should be free to live your own life how you want, you need to be sure that you don't impose on others, or cause pain or suffering, even inadvertently.
