Trump's Claim WRT Ukraine

Donald Trump believes that he could shut down the conflict in Ukraine in 24 hours (The Art of the Deal.).

If he were to accept and deal with the reality of the situation

, that might be possible.

Here is what I see as the reality of the situation...

• NATO, the Pentagon, and the Biden regime are in way over their heads i.e. I would describe the situation as FUBAR, US military slang acronym for 'Fouled up Beyond Any Recognition'.
• The best deal the US could hope for now would be very much worse than the deal that Boris Johnson squelched in Istanbul last spring.
• All the US should be tryinig to do at this point is save some modicum of face and, if possible, undo some of the self-inflicted damage.
• There is no kind of war that the US and/or NATO could win against Russia.
• There is nothing the US and/or NATO could threaten Russia with that would frighten them.
• Mr. Putin is in no mood to be trifled with at this point.
• Mr. Putin has stated that he wants and will take all Russian-speaking areas of Ukraine including Odessa.
• He also wants enough surrounding acreage to put Russian people out of the range of Ukraine's longest range weapons.
• We should assume he will get all of that.
• For any proposed deal to interest Mr. Putin, that deal would have to offer him something he does not have and has no reasonable plan to acquire.

My suggestion for such a proposal would be to somehow offer him a rational idea as to something to do with the Western, and Ukrainian-speaking side of Ukraine. Mr. Putin does not want that and he does not want to have to deal with it. He is willing to have his forces go to the Polish border if he has to in order to protect Russia, but he would much rather not have to.

That would be the main idea as to something to offer Mr. Putin as per the art of the deal. There might also be a question of what to do with Kiev after Zelenski and other members of that rogue/criminal regime have been rounded up and hanged.
