There are reports of these guys driving around in Switzerland in exotic Italian cars, buying up Swiss real estate...
There are also claims that most of the arms and munitions sent to Ukraine by the US and other NATO countries get sold off on the black market. I.E try not to act too surprised when you start reading about LA street gangs and Mexican cartels with main battle tanks and self-propelled 155mm howitzers.
Motivation
What does the United States get out of any of this? What are these vast sums supposed to be buying for us??That sort of depends on who you are and your point of view.
What do the American people get from it? Basically nothing that any sane person would ever want: increasing poverty and danger of nuclear wars and what not.
What do NATO fops, NEOCON wankers, and people involved in the Military-Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower warned us about get out of it? Basically they get to continue in the lifestyles to which they have become accustomed and are spared the abject horror of having to find real jobs.
What does the US Democrat party get out of it? That question has been in the news lately...

Basically the de-moKKKer-Rats are spared from the strain and anguish of having to come up with any real issues or learn any new skills other than their standard schtick of claiming to represent "victims".
