How, in 1166 BC, Elephants and Hippopotamus ended up ruling society

I don't know what they are called exactly these elders in Africa tasked with the preservation of history. Maybe we should just call them tribal historians. Anyway, there is an interview on youtube with one criticizing Tellinger for clamping onto (what should probably be called) the European version of history in the context of the stone circles in South Africa. (without doors)

The most interesting thing this old man notes is that Africans use to use large numbers of African elephants raised in captivity on human milk. European history on the one hand wants to rule this out because it is asserted that one can't tame an African elephant while on the other hand proposing all kinds of idiotic ideas on how megalithic structures are build. The old man argued it very simple!

And indeed, if I add a bit of numbers to the idea... If your body weights up to 7000 kg, 4 of you would weight 28 000 kg. Dragging the larger 10 ton block wouldn't be a big deal. The smaller blocks used in the great pyramid are "only" 1300 kg. That would be like a 70 kg human moving a 13 kg block. We also have lots of examples online of the tame hippo. With enough love and dedication and a lack of bulldozers and trucks it shouldn't be hard to imagine a synergistic relationship with these otherwise violent and dangerous humans. Hippopotamus is after all Greek for river horse. Seth the god of chaos could even change into a hippo himself!

We know people around 1166 BC when globalism collapsed had a hierarchical society. Some had great wealth while others had very little. Now imagine what happens if you keep just 10 of these giant animals and have to feed them as much as 1000 humans would eat. Just 10 doesn't seem like a lot. To build a pyramid you could use hundreds if not thousands. Say they kept just 3000 hippos for sake of argument, then one day stopped feeding them simply because there was no more food. Now you have a giant blob of hippo looking for something to eat and a landscape full of tasty humans. Mostly herbivorous means mostly!

If hungry enough the elephant will also eat anything but first it will eat 150 kg of green per day. At that rate it doesn't take many or very long to eat an entire farm.

Familiar with their diet and their behaviour, it would be a tempting idea for the elite to feed the work animals first. Anything to feed the animals, you take peoples food and if that means they cant survive you feed them to the hippo. Or you can chose to not feed them, then they will help themselves. Setting fire to the city might be a good short term solution.

So there you have it, my theory of an African elephant and Hippopotamus ruled society.

At first one would be tempted to think they didn't have the intellect but then we look at our politicians and other ruling class humans and we see that rule by monopolizing violence is more of a rule than an exception while intelligence or other refined human qualities are more of an obstacle than a requirement.

Here is a fun talk about the period:
