Trump On The Charlottesville Riot ReduxsteemCreated with Sketch.

Over a month has passed since the "Unite The Right" Rally in Charlottesville yet it's effects still reverberate. The rally took place on the weekend on August 11 and had over a week of news coverage.

The fallout has been widespread and affected both sides of the political spectrum, the Anti-Fascists(Antifa) and the Far Right(Alt Right). While Donald Trump has condemned both sides, the loudest and seemingly most far reaching media took offense to a dual condemnation.

It was hammered upon us that Trump really fucked up for condemning both sides. "There is no comparison" was the (((media's))) cackle. Many people I am sure, believe that but, both sides of the story were not told by the media and are still not. One thing that came out today that seems to have come out kind of quietly, is that there was only one Black Senate Republican that condemned him for his equivocation, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina.

Trump met with that Senator today and the Senator's response was quite condescending. Senator Scott complained of the KKK which has been defunct effectively for a very long time.

""Rome wasn't built in a day, and to expect the President's rhetoric to change based on one 30-minute conversation is unrealistic," the statement read. "Antifa is bad and should be condemned, yes, but the KKK has been killing and tormenting black Americans for centuries. There is no realistic comparison. Period."

It's like Uncle Leo from Seinfeld complaining the waitress was an Anti-Semite because of percieved weird look.

What Trump said was this:

"We had a great talk yesterday," Trump said of his meeting with Scott. "I think especially in light of the advent of Antifa, if you look at what's going on there. You have some pretty bad dudes on the other side also, and essentially that's what I said. Now, because of what's happened since then with Antifa — you look at really what's happened since Charlottesville, a lot of people are saying and people have actually written, 'Gee, Trump might have a point.' I said, 'You've got some very bad people on the other side also,' which is true."

The media and others who see the "Alt Right" as a Killer White Mob. They should know that no one was hurt at the torch rally the previous night because no one from Antifa came out to harm them that night. People should also be informed that some type of acidic liquid was sprayed in one prominent member of the Alt Right's eyes leaving him partially blind and that the man who drove the Challenger into a crowd was a Paranoid Schizophrenic who was under attack. Furthermore, the woman that was killed when the Challenger came down the street was morbidly obese and died of a heart attack.
