Go to University and Become A Fascist Liberal - It's Great!

In Britain it is now believed that around 80% of all university lecturers and teaching staff are left-wingers, as recorded in a recent report by the Adam Smith Institute. The massive imbalance in the education system should be a concern for most of us. But as our society here in Britain has a government pandering to the left, which operates in a political system dominated by liberal ideology, including the Civil Service, and relies on a media landscape controlled by liberal elites don't be that surprised if people aren't even questioning the state of the higher education system, let alone protesting it.

I totally agree with you Freedomexist, not because I've stayed in Britain before but because the same happens in Nigeria. Higher education to me is like packing a fish in a can, when there's an ocean out there to swim. It pains my heart when I see so much corruption in wanton abandonment, and the so called 'educated' will turn blind eye, busy on a rat race...sighs!!!

I'm a victim myself and i will make sure my child learns the value of self-education and self-discovery.... In that is peace and abundance of life!

The result of idealism clashing with pragmatism on a social level. Ideals drive you to improve your skills but are not meant to make you a productive member of society. Once your skills make you rich and famous, you are supposed to settle down and support the system that feeds you.

Yes well said, just look at all those celebrities who will say and do anything to ensure they remain famous.

Unfortunately, most people lack critical thinking and once they begin to like you, they will defend you no matter how much you betray your initial claims. It takes years for them to accept a famous person "sold out" for profit.

Of course let's say they showed promises before the went to university but however a lot changed probably after they left. Which is really questionable

freedomexists , you came out of nowhere and you are killing it in Steem with stunning content. This truly shows that when one is dedicated success does not take long to follow.

freedomexists is a straight shooter and I am glad to see that he continues to give solid advice.

You have put it in a beautiful manner .
First people promise a lot, n then they fail to fulfil those promises. In the words of Austin, power corrupts n absolute power corrupts absolute .
People forget their ethics once they achieve things

Well it is good that most people don't make it university then isn't it? Given that 80% of the people who don't go are right-wingers (just estimating, I have no proof). Btw, I'm not trying to bash anyone. I'm just pointing out the opposing view of things. Personally, I don't identify in any wing. Both have good points, but the extremists in both wings aren't doing a favor for anyone. Just my two cents.

This pitcure is so true,im glad that i make right desicion not to study higher education in my country, all they want is our money, and they are not giving us this higher education, this means i need to leave everything and go study in other country or study myslef from books and life

You do not need to move to another country. You need to make your own country work for you. If it doesn't then prepare to challenge those things, and fight for a better country to achieve better social and economic conditions.
