You are absolutely right the Neocons are indeed the driving power behind the endless American war-machine.
I even think, that if we want to find the real culprits of 9/11 we should take a very close look at some of them, particularly the former PNAC think-tankers who wished for a "new Pearl Harbor".
They have a horrific Macchiavellian ideology, where the end (American domination of the world in the 21.century) justifies absolute any means.
