The same people who call for gun control also want to abolish/defund the police which is quite dangerous. If we're going to defund the police then gun rights must be respected, and especially the right to self defense. A lot of these major cities have policies that criminalizes victims of assault for using weapons, and that is just plainly wrong!
If the police are abolished, 'gun control" is dead-- there would be no one to enforce it. The politicians could impose all the "laws" they want and it would be pointless. I'm fine with that.
