President Uhuru Kenyatta has named Ukur Yattani as the acting Treasury Cabinet Secretary in a surprise appointment to replace officials charged over the Sh63 billion dam scandal.

Mr Yattani, an economist by training is the current CS of Labour and Social Protection and a former governor of Marsabit County
