did something interesting today
i actually contacted a politician today. directly. living outside the system entirely. being in total protest against everything it is. i simply had to do it. we have to fix the energy problems.
having spent my teens partying in the rich suburbs around oslo, i have had fun with people that made things of themselves. so i contacted the gay guy i partied with a few times. he is in politics. an elected official locally or something. (we are young) he feelt to me like a guy that believe we are ACTUALLY trying to save the environment. not just protecting oil. so i sent him the link to the dark matter reactor, and explained a bit. its new years, so he probably wont read true the material today, but his message back made it very clear he was going to. he was very glad i cared about the environment, they are all worried. this coming week. a norwegian politican, that actually believes we are trying to save the environment. is going to start working towards putting money on the dark matter reactors. and we use BILLIONS of dollars a year on "green" tech. we are demanding that the oil fund has to start building clean energy. this could get interesting. if he is the kind of guy i think he is. we will see how thigh the hand is around norwegian politics. because this is its wet dream. its the dream of every norwegian politician. according to them.
A lot of the green tech initiatives are neither green nor real alternatives. Electric cars need manufacture, lithium batteries which are not friendly to the environment, and need to be charged. The electrical charge is merely generated elsewhere, most likely by fossil fuels. Solar needs energy rich manufacture, replacement every few decades, and on the home level battery banks, power inverters, etc. Wind needs constant maintenance and has an unknown duty cycle.
None of them are any type of solution in their own right, but government has attempted to subsidize many companies.
cant allow tech that replaces oil. my bet, is that the guy i contacted, does not know that.
