RE: Why Do Trump Supporters Think Their Shit Doesn't Stink?

in #politics8 years ago

The same reason Hillary's supporters don't think their shit stinks.

Both groups are wallowing around not in a jelly filled wrestling pit, but one full of shit.

They haven't stopped to realize you don't have to support either of them. They are both bad people.

Yet there are good people, but "they can't win."

Yet I didn't know our job was to pick a winner. I thought our job was to pick a representative that best represents us. Is that what the Hillary or Trump supporters are doing? Or are they perhaps allowing the news networks with the monitors facing inward towards the shit pit inspire them with fear to think they MUST vote for one of those two or else the other horrible person wins.

Hillary is going to win. She has been going to win before any of this started. Some of us knew that.

I fucking hate Hillary. I know from research she is likely the most corrupt person we've ever try to become president.

I am not anti-female. Pick some random woman off of the street, she'd likely be a better president and she'd be female if that is your thing...

Or perhaps you'd consider Jill Stein (Green Party) who is female and actually a decent person and not a sociopathic criminal.

Or perhaps you'd consider Gary Johnson (Libertarian Party) who has only success stories in business as Governor. He is extremely outgoing and is a genuinely good guy. He is pretty laid back and not in your face, unlike Trump.

The Lesser of evils is still evil. Why choose evil at all?

Picking the winning team IS NOT YOUR JOB as a citizen.

It is to elect a representative who best represents you. If that is Trump or Hillary then you've likely got other issues I can't help with.

Someone else made a more informative post... check this out:

Very true but a lot of people are color blind, only able to red and blue. Personally i only see green this year.

I am more a Johnson backer IF I vote. I do like Jill Stein though. I don't like some of the Green Party policies but really they are both REALLY good choices and I could lean either way.

@alexbeyman post I linked to in my response is a pretty good one. I think he says it quite well.

if you are willing to vote for a third party ....you need to get your ass to the polls

Oh I most likely will. I voted for Johnson in 2012.

I think it is all rigged so I mostly do it for my own conscience.

I was a Berner...but Sanders got edged out...the Democratic Party says Clinton is the ONLY one standing in the way of the Trump regime...If I thought for one minute that the Libertarians or the Greens stood a snowball's chance in h3ll of winning...I would switch...but Bernie opted for putting his planks in the Democratic Platform & urged us to vote for Clinton...Being an Anarchist I find both Parties lacking in depth...but The Revolution continues...

I didn't agree with a lot of the things Bernie said but I did know he was far better than Hillary, and yes likely Trump as well. I've followed his voting record on votesmart.org for quite a few years. He rightly referred to Hillary as being a criminal and ineligible earlier in his campaign. He was right. So when he endorsed her that was him endorsing someone that he knows is a criminal and ineligible. I cannot back that. He has had one serious job in his life. That has been as a politician. He should not have endorsed her. He didn't have to endorse anyone. That would have left his reputation untarnished, yet I will not support anyone that calls someone a criminal and then endorses the criminal, no matter how great the words they choose to use on the campaign sound.

He would have made a better president than Hillary. That might be true of many people. Random woman off the street would work.

EDIT: I am an Anarchist as well. Unfortunately that doesn't mean I can ignore what is going on around us. I suspect you agree with me. IF I vote in my case it'll likely be for Gary Johnson, though I think Jill Stein is a decent person and has some good ideas. Green Party endorses a few too many socialist type agendas for me personally, but she is not a bad person and does have good ideas.

Speaking of, this is pretty funny. I'm sure you'll appreciate it. I can't get over how utterly clueless these protestors are:

Hey, who does this remind you of?
