If You Repeat A Lie Often Enough - It Becomes The Truth... The Trump Method Of Governance...

If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth…

This appears to be the Donald Trump philosophy – at least as it relates to his governance of the country.

It’s become normal for the president to just pull a lie out of his ass and sell it to the American people as fact. There appears to be no one around this “infant”, ”child”, “idiot”, or “Fucking Moron” (to use the words of – EVERYONE in his inner circle) to act as a filter, no one to review the lies before he says them, no one to prevent him from making a total ass out of himself, no one to explain the consequences of his words and his actions, and no one to determine the ramifications to the world, when these things are done and said by the President of the United States.

The most recent blatant lie from Trump relates to Michael Wolff's new book Fire and Fury. Apparently we're supposed to believe that this strange little man somehow just wandered in off the street, stayed in the hallway for four months taking notes, and did it all without the "Buffoon in Chief" knowing anything about it...

Here's an oldie but goodie... The "widespread voter fraud" lie is being regurgitated as part of Trumps attempt to explain away Roy Moore's epic loss to Doug Jones in the Alabama senate race. Trump used this one directly after his own election, attempting to explain away his 3 million plus loss of the popular vote.

There was no collusion... This one seems to be evolving a little bit, but it perfectly displays the if you say it enough people will believe it sentiment. Only Trump could (or would be stupid enough) to say this 17 times in a 30 minute interview. Most of his mouthpieces have reverted to saying "collusion isn't a crime" instead...

More legislation than any president ever... This one is only true if you don't consider every president for the last 50 years - the actual stats put Trump in dead last place for actual signed legislation...

The repeal of The ACA (Obamacare)... Once again the Trump train jumps the rails with an epic lie - The individual mandate is basically a fine we pay for NOT having insurance and has nothing to do with funding the program...

This is what the first week of 2018 looks like - a lie a day... If the past year is any indication of where things are headed – grab some popcorn, take a seat, and buckle up. We’re in for one hell of a ride…!!!

All this was inspired by the principle – which is quite true in itself – that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes.

Adolf Hitler - Mein Kampf

Think Trump reads much - bet he read this one...

Sort:

Well if I am not mistaken I think that the phrase “If you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth” was said by the infamous Joseph Goebbles, Hitlers propaganda minister.. that might explain why, although the Buffon in Charge does not read, he is very forgiving ( let’s call it forgiving) of the Alt Right movement..he might have picked up the strategy along the way from them.. Now regarding your post I really do not know if the book is 100% accurate but as far as the reaction of Orange Boy is concerned, regarding the book , well if you excuse yourself to much you actually accuse yourself !Good post! Keep in touch!

The similarities are frightening to say the least...

Ministry of Propaganda = Fox News
Joseph Goebbels = Sarah Sanders
Walther Funk = Steve Mnuchin
Heinrich Himmler = Mike Pence
Hermann Göring = HR McMaster
Wilhelm Keitel = Jeff Sessions
Etc. Etc. Etc....................

Even more scary is thinking that history has a way of repeating itself...

Yes history does repeat itself, the scary part is that we never acknowledge the signs and after all is said and done we have the audacity to say we didn’t see it coming!

Good one Dave.

Thanks brother - I have a lot of material to work with... :)

You and I live on the same soil. We are both passionate about our country. We believe in good for humanity. I never saw the wisdom in being a party person. Both parties are two sides of the same face. I just wish for good things to happen to the country. So I won’t fight for characters in a play. You are a good man. I will always support you. Keep the truth movement going.

Well, thanks to "perseverance" of his lies and the will to back them up, (I think) people will start to believe more in his lies than the real truth (and be more emotional "invested" in his ideals). I'm surprised that the largest (and powerful nation) in the world has at her "helm" such a dangerous individual...

I think you have it spot on @razzek... People voted for this idiot KNOWING he was not necessarily the best person for the job. I'm sure at the time they were thinking it would be good to shake up the system a little bit, and maybe have some positive change come out of it.

IMHO - now the typical Trump supporter is so completely "invested" in NOT BEING WRONG, that they will simply ignore the facts, and refuse to see the obvious mistake it was to place someone like Trump in the most powerful position in the world.

I can definitively say that America is no longer the greatest nation in the world, and hasn't been for quite a long time...!!! That being said - It's my shit hole of a country, so I have no choice but to shed blood any way I can - even if it's only bitching politics on some obscure social media site... :)

Thanks for the comment @razzek ...

thanks your post! have a nice day
