Manhunt Underway To Find CIA Mole Who Leaked Information To WikiLeaks

in #politics7 years ago (edited)

There is reportedly a manhunt underway for a CIA traitor who is suspected of leaking sensitive information to WikiLeaks as part of their Vault 7 data dumps.

The CIA and FBI are said to be launching a joint operation in trying to investigate and find the individual who is suspected of releasing the information. The dumps are credited as being one of the worst security breaches in CIA history and they exposed thousands of documents that illustrated various CIA tools that are used to hack smartphones, computers, and more.

The individual who leaked the information is said to have been someone within the agency because the documents were held in a top security area there. However, there are hundreds of different employees and other contractors who had access to the information. But they have started sorting through the possible names of who they think it might be.

The leaks were published in March by WikiLeaks and since the dump, CIA officials have come out and aggressively criticized WikiLeaks saying that they are a “non-state hostile intelligence service” that is sometimes “abetted by state actors like Russia.”

WikiLeaks has admitted that they received the information from contractors who previously worked for US intelligence.

WikiLeaks also previously stated that they believed the data was circulated among former US government hackers and other contractors and that one of those individuals ended up giving a portion of the information to WikiLeaks.

The CIA still hasn't confirmed the information that was released by WikiLeaks as to whether or not it was authentic.

Within a day of the information being released, the FBI and CIA launched their investigation, sparking a major “mole hunt” into the intelligence agencies.

It was the Gingerbread Man.
Run, run as fast as they can.
The CIA can't catch the Gingerbread Man.

Wonder who they'll pin it on... They'll have to have a Fall Guy.

This is just plain lunacy...
They should be investigating how the CIA lost control of their illegal cyber weapons and malware potentially ruining the entire internet. Who knows how these weapons will be used against us (meaning average people across the globe)?

THIS is what these arrogant fools should be investigating.
