Saturday Night Keynote Speakers

When I signed up for Prepper Camp, it was partially because Rick and Mike talked about possibly doing a live show at the camp. I think Rick kept that in the back of his mind, but didn't actually get around to scheduling us in for Friday night. However, on Thursday, William R. Forstchen had contacted Rick to inform him that he would most likely not be available to speak on Saturday night as the keynote speaker. Mr. Forstchen had hurt his back and was on pain medication. Rick approached me about actually doing the spot and I was all for it. On Friday, I ran into Mike and during our conversation I asked if Rick had told him about speaking on Saturday. Mike hadn't talked to Rick. Saturday came and Rick still hadn't talked to Mike, but I told Rick that Mike was up for it. I found Mike again on Saturday and confirmed that he was going to do the show and then got back to Rick on it. In retrospect, I should have gotten Mike to radio Rick on the Channel 3 Open Camp channel, but again, we probably didn't want that information getting out.

William Forstchen wrote the book One Second After, which details the events that happen in a small North Carolina town after an EMP attack knocks the grid down across the country. He also wrote two follow up books to make it a series. One Second After is a book that has been suggested that every American should read.

Months before publication, One Second After was already cited on the floor of Congress as a book all Americans should read. It has been discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a realistic look at EMPs and their awesome ability to send catastrophic shockwaves throughout the United States, literally within seconds. ~ http://www.onesecondafter.com/

Mr. Forstchen has been the keynote speaker for all three previous Prepper Camps. And, to be honest, I was looking forward to hearing him talk about the current North Korea situation. So, while being a little disappointed, I was also excited to have a live audience for Politically Correct.

This episode is longer than our normal episodes, because we didn't want to limit the audience participation. However, running Prepper Camp is very hard work and Rick needed to get some sleep. Reaction was positive and we had some of the speakers who were in attendance suggest that we do it again next year. Some people even said they like the format more than the usual keynote given, no offense to Mr. Forstchen. I'm guessing he had less open question and answer.

Anyway, it has a little slow start for intros and then we get rolling, until the point we decided to shut it down.
Enjoy!

Constitutionally Conservative Viewpoints in a Liberal World Gone Mad.
We are just three guys who like to talk about current events, politics and self-reliance. Each week we pick a topic and try to stick to it in the main show. In the After Show, we like to go a little deeper and are more conspiracy minded. We aren't professional pundits, just some guys having a good time shooting the breeze.

This is my first look at it thanks for sharing @deanlogic

You know what's awesome, you guys are way more real than this guy...Haha.. Can't imagine one of you going bananas like this.

LOL!
Thanks.

I reWatched my video a couple of times and I don't know if I was just tired or what, but I sure was grumpy angry, compared to our normal shows. But, the audience seemed to enjoy the grumpy angry me.

Haha, nah you were fine man. It was good content. Cool to see a crowd so open to this political knowledge.
