The Politics Tag on Steemit is full of Cringey Alt-Righters and "Skeptics"
We really need some more social justice posters, the most left-leaning people I can even see are David Pakman, and while he's pretty solid, he's not really solid enough.
It's not surprising, usually "skeptics" are more ahead of the curve on technological stuff, whether it be because of fear and bans, or whatever else. It's really unfortunate to see that when there are budding new platforms with high potential, the cringe edgelord nazi class is usually the first to infest and it gives everything a bad look. This happened with Minds, and is one of the reasons why Minds is useless garbage. Same with Gab as well.
What separates those cringe-fests from STEEM is the tech, and STEEM has good tech, so it's worth engaging in because of that.
Either way I'm going to start posting more social justice rants in the politics section to see if I can even the scores a bit.
Engage with me, fellow STEEMers

I'd be interested to see this because social justice (or perhaps more accurately the way it's portrayed in the media) isn't something I would typically support, but I don't often disagree with your political views, so I'm open to being swayed on a few issues.
However I would definitely suggest that you consider an alt account. Being combative in the political sphere where people famously take extreme offense doesn't seem like a good idea on a platform where you could be endlessly downvoted by a single rich kid with no possible recourse. Especially when it's a significant chunk of your income. Worryingly enough that doesn't seem an unlikely scenario given your history on other websites.
the "Rabid SJW" is the same trope that people used against obama by calling him an "Angry black man" and stuff like that. It's mostly fictitious ultra-hyperbolic caricatures that don't often exist, and if they do, they are no threat to anybody. That's why you think that, most likely.
Decent thing to consider, but I'd be shocked if someone went through with that tbh, and if they did then lol they'd need to be at it for a while because I'm not leaving.
Can we save the engagement for down the line a bit? Need to find a ring, first...
I'm just spit balling here, but I wonder if generally the kind of people that have the money to invest in crypto currency (not that it takes a lot), tend to lean right, leaving a dearth of lefty crypto users? Could be talking out of my arse, and I can't imagine there have been any big studies on this sort of thing.
Best of luck with it anyways!
right wingers are inherently more wealthy and powerful so that could be a reasonable explanation, but you don't need crypto to make an account so
