God I hate listening to white people cry about free speech
white people be like "well free speech lets you be gay and not get jailed!" and its like, well 1) no, and 2) after how many centuries of struggle? c'mon kid
I can understand free speech absolutism for white people that never talk to minorities, but how do you get to like, 30 years old without talking to minorities enough to know that free speech isn't real? I don't get it. Teenagers, sure, but like grown adults???
I am not a fan of hate speech, even speech directed at people who speak hatred. It is best to ignore such small mindedness. It is dying with all the old ways. People are People.

Absolute freespeech doesn't exist, though it's possible to get a nice balance sometimes. Typically anonymity is the most useful for it because you can't be held accountable to what you say, which is what free speech actually is: Freedom from consequence.
And the second principle being That there's at least one person to listen (so shouting into a void doesn't count :P )
That's the best simplest definition I can come up with, morality wise it gets complicated but that's up to the individual to decide.
People don't understand intrinsic freedoms of being majority in any situation. It's pretty pathetic how people judge folks for being different looking in ways that they aren't even aware of or care enough to try and combat. It's very obvious when certain folk are sheltered and when they're not. Like, you can tell @fracasgrimm and @iw-curator are just sheltered ingroup folk who've probably only heard about minorities on TV and would never bother talking to them in real life of course!
