Virgin Islands ALLOWS National Guard to Confiscate PRIVATE GUNS and AMMO /// Order signed by Governor

This is quite unsettling news to say the least. The Governor of the Virgin Islands said OK to an order today to seize private guns, ammo, and other related items to "help" the National Guard after the Hurricane Irma is over? VERY UNSETTLING. The article is in the link below. Scary times when governing authorities take away the people's guns which are supposed to protect them. Thoughts?
