RE: Human Governance and Critical Thinking, Part 1

you know kaylinart did a lovely article . . .

well actually all kaylinart ever does is lovely articles, but they mention how to capitalise on an existing post . . . let me go find it...

https://steemit.com/steemit/@kaylinart/think-long-term-with-steemit-not-short-term

ah here it is . . .

what do I know but i think kaylinart is awesome ! ! !

awesome post. I have been thinking about how to re-use that series of posts. But I have been trying to orientate that action towards some kind of reformat here on Steemit.

I like this site, although my niches (politics of security and Gridcoin) are really niche, and don't payout. But I'll keep on Steemin!

Can you not slightly modify your content to appeal to a wider audience. I started talking about how bad professional politicians were, but what if you spoke about crazy history facts from the past...

One thing was thomas jefferson was basically locked in a horrid room and thus he wrote and later popularized the Declaration of Independence. If we can make Steemit WOW, amusing, fun; informative or useful we might serve a more useful purpose here and help ourselves along as well.

Once I started writing things and including pictures i have actually made 12 dollars lol : )

Seriously there is a lot of weird but true things people might actually stop to read and learn about ; )

geez they might even find the UPvote Button ! ! !

good suggestion. that material started out as a lecture for a lesson plan for undergrad students.

maybe i'll try to adjust the tone and throw in some pics, and definitely add some more historical detail

I like the idea of trying to improve myself and share my knowledge with others . . .

damn straight

ok what is Gridcoin?

Gridcoin is an altcoin mined by using your computer's "spare" processing power, both CPU and GPU, to process scientific data by BOINC (distributed computing)

An example of BOINC processing is the SETI@home project.

Here is an earlier post of mine
https://steemit.com/gridcoin/@stevescoins/gridcoin-and-steemit-as-engines-of-democratic-techno-conomy

But you will really get some useful info by checking out the #gridcoin tag

It does not have the semi-anonymity built in that BTC does, but it doesn't require a hardware investment as long as you have a computer, or even a tablet, of some sort.
(You could work in an anonymous account, but you'd need to be up on your privacy game to do so)
