Capitalism, Communism and Decentralization

in #politics8 years ago (edited)

The opponents of both capitalism (Occupy) and communism (Tea Party) seem concerned with the same underlying problem, that large centralized actors will control and brainwash people with the ideology that serves them best.

Crony Capitalism is the inevitable result of this polarity and combines the worst of both worlds. Opponents of Big Coorp and Big Brother should rather unite with the slogan:

"The Revolution Will not be Centralized!"

With Bitcoin and related technologies the possibility of radical decentralization of power is no longer fiction - decentralized organizations, companies, laws, and banks are being built right now..

This Steem Platform is a Decentralized Social Network part of that Revolution!

Power in one as well. Just a different kind.
Now that the Graphene toolkit exists, I look forward to many profitable chains.

I was an occupier. I can assure you that the movement had a strong critique of state power. The core principles of the movement were drawn from anarchism and direct democracy. The center of your venn diagram above was one of the central arguments that the Occupy movement was making.
