Gov. Udom Emmanuel retains Governorship seat.

There has been massive celebration presently over the victory of the governorship aspirant of the People's Democratic party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Governor Udom Emmanuel who aspired for a second term as the incumbent governor now has reasons to be thankful to God for being chosen by the people to serve a second term.
The State Governor, who is a PDP candidate is an active and vibrant man who is concerned over the well being of the masses.

'Mr Industrialization' as fondly called bagged away a total of 519,712 votes while the opponent candidate Mr Nsima Ekere of the All Progressive Congress had a total of 171,978. Gov. Udom won with a margin of 347,734 votes.
