Why Do Americans Hate Donald Trump?
So it's no longer news that Donald Trump, a seemingly successful business man won the 2016 American presidential elections. This is 2019 and almost three years down the line, there seems too be a lot of negative vibe from American people towards President Trump and his government. Now personally, I do not live in America but i follow a number of American news outlets that post a lot of content on the social media platform facebook. From what I've observed, the American people who also follow these media outlets always lash out at any news coming from Donald Trump and the white house and they also seem to berate any piece of news concerning Donald Trump's government. So my questions are :
Do these Americans on social media represent the interest of a vast majority of Americans?
If the Vast majority of Americans disliked Donald Trump from the start, then who voted for him in the first place? (I assume the elections in America are free, fair and credible).
Donald Trump's government seems to have done a lot regarding unemployment and taxes? Are his achievements not good enough for the American people?
Lastly, is it just a smear campaign by a section of the American media to promote the perception that the vast majority of Americans are not in tune with the government?
I would like answers from those who live in America and are familiar with what's happening in the American political sphere.
Down here in Nigeria where I live for instance, the government of the day is known to be one of the most if not even the most nepotistic democratic government to have ever ruled the country. They flagrantly disobey court orders and disregard the rule of law. For instance, was some time last year, armed masked operatives of the DSS, Nigeria's secret police invaded the National Assembly and barred members of the legislature form gaining entry.
Sadly enough, the man at the helm of affairs, Muhammadu Buhari cares little what happens to the nations democracy or is just too daft to care. He is known to favor those of the same ethnic minority with him as well as disregard the nations delicate multi ethnicity. Several militia groups of his ethnicity have carried out mass slaughters on other ethnic groups but the President continues to defend his people.
In conclusion, I would rather have your Donald Trump take charge of my country than have a blood thirsty Buhari rule for another four years.
What's your take on this?

I see you haven't any replies on this subject. I'll offer you my opinion.
What are the signs that a leader is fully engaged in the interests of those who are led? Freedom, first of all, which is actually being threatened in America by people who call for other people to be censored. This isn't freedom, it's slavery. So definitely, censorship isn't the sign of a good leader.
As far as I'm aware, Trump isn't trying to censor anyone, but radicals opposed to him are. People are actually being attacked for wearing hats that say Make America Great Again, because it reveals they are supporting Trump, which is just insane. This looks a lot like the Nazi brownshirts' actions before Hitler became chancellor of Germany.
The economy, at least by the numbers, is doing well; the unemployment rate is at its lowest point in 50 years. These are things that always, in past times, were regarded as the main indicators suggesting the president was doing a good job. That seems to have suddenly now changed, and is meaningless, unless they claim it's all because of the past president, and not the current one. Those making this claim actually overlook a comment from the former president, who said that Trump would need a magic wand to get the economy to where Trump said he'd get it, and has gotten it.
The question you ask will likely bring replies that will be simply opinions of one side or the other. It's best to look at the numbers and other indicators of how the country is really prospering or not prospering, economically, to determine the most honest answer.
A sign of a poor leader inevitably rests on the economy he/she leads being a mess. If it stays upbeat, things are good. If the economy is good, but some complain, it's assured the complainers represent a tiny minority of the population in general.
