Only few of the leaders in the world can take a bold step of resigning, when you know you re not fit for the position of a leader, step down and let a capable person take over before the country is in a hard to recover ruin.

South African President Jacob Zuma on Wednesday resigned as the ruling ANC party finally turned against him after nine years of corruption scandals, economic slowdown, and falling popularity.

In a 30-minute national television address, Zuma said he had “come to the decision to resign as president of the republic with immediate effect”.

Nigerians have however taken to Twitter to express their varied opinions on the resignation of the South African President.
