I'm sure you will be accused of promoting "conspiracy theories." There's logic to what you say, of course. But, in our day and age, logic is defeated every time by the deluge of "authoritative information" commanded by the big outlets. The very word "authoritative" has lost its meaning. We just watch and verify our fears every time the next step is accomplished by those who will manipulate this world (and us) to death. We still use Hitler and his crew of demented butchers as the ultimate in totalitarianism (with Uncle Josef in Moscow the close second) but he and his gang are real amateurs in comparison to what it's being done today. And our modern form of hushed totalitarianism is extremely difficult to break--if at all. Good post.
