With Silicon Valley, Hollywood, the video game industry and aerospace, California is an economic powerhouse possessing a highly skilled, educated workforce.
Absolutely bizarre to me that they excluded the agriculture sector from this list. It makes me wonder if these guys actually have any idea what they're doing.
They do. It's because they know they wouldn't get support from that sector. The interests of people who live in rural areas are marginalized in California, even more so than in other states and at the national level. It's the most likely place they would encounter resistance.
So they ignore/alienate rural CA right from the beginning? It seems like a weird approach to me.
Well, I think they already have. They're just trying to sidestep them.
Governor Brown just signed a law giving a ten year eviction notice to the farmers.
These people don't know what they are doing.
