Facebook can Control your Privacy without any Remorse.

The right to privacy has evolved to protect the freedom of individuals to take specific actions and to submit to certain experiences.

The dimension of the autonomy of the person in the right to privacy was developed especially in cases related to reproductive rights. For this reason, it is established in this area. The Supreme Court of the United States recognized for the first time the independent right to privacy within the framework of the protection implicit in the first ten amendments of the Constitution of the United States or the Bill of Rights in the Griswold vs. Connecticut case. In this case, the right of privacy of married people was invoked to nullify a law that prohibited contraception.

This personal autonomy has grown to become a fundamental right protected by the due process clause of the fourteenth constitutional amendment.

A user with few Facebook interactions was surprised to download a copy of their data: about 500 unknown companies had their personal data, without him having provided them.

Brian X. Chen, a journalist who is an expert in technology, in an article recently published in English in The New York Times, explains that the companies had their email address, telephone number and full name.

In that "Pandora's box", as he defined the finding condensed in 650 megabytes, equivalent to about 160 hours of music, there were also all his telephone contacts, including that of his department's intercom, approximately one hundred contacts he had eliminated in the last fourteen years.

In Chen's written testimony, he stated that "Facebook knew more about me, more than I wanted to know." Therefore it was proposed to investigate how the company led by Mark Zuckerberg had collected and stored their data.

The executive director of the company said that each user could download all their information and then delete it if they wanted, which Chen considers an "exaggeration", since there is data -such as the birthday date- that can not be deleted from the social network, which started operating between 2004 and 2005.

Among the unknown files of your activity on the network, you found that there is a history of the times you logged on in the last two years, which included the device and browser used and the geographical location.

After the scandal of data leakage of more than 87 million users of Facebook, used by the Cambridge Analytica company for electoral purposes in the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, some Internet users published the results they obtained after clicking on 'Download information' in the configuration section, where they obtained all the 'data' generated during their time in the social network.

Given the discovery in the social network, Chen downloaded copies of their data in Google, through the tool Google Takeout. From that operation he obtained eight gigabytes of information.

In the case of the search engine, there was a folder called 'Ads', where there would be a record of the newspaper articles that I had read. In this case, he clarifies that although he did not click on any advertisement they were also registered.
