POLITICS/THEY WILL SOON COME BACK AGAIN

Nigerians are suffering; the pangs of pain writ large on our mien. Assiduousness has been our lodestar but what do we get in return, incessant rape and gleeful laundering of our patrimony. People with less churn out While there has been an endless clamour of the imperative of diligence, I have vehemently on a quotidian basis debunk the importance. While diligence is indubitably a good virtue, its relevance against the backdrop of the spate of corruptive revelations leaves much to my distaste. We work with miserable emolument; we strive without the attendant thrive; we subject ourselves to the throes of utmost discomfort without an accompanied leeway; frantic quest has only ended in futility.
It sears my heart with the rate people strain every nerve just to eke out a living.
Despite the deluge, these people still brave the cascade because their bellies solely depend on the sale of their merchandise.

But we have the certified deranged motley with incoherent articulations justifying the withdrawal of $1billion. Seriously? The youth with their vibrancy wither away with the sublimation of their energy to utter self-depredation. Activeness without clear-headed goals leads to futility of vigorosity. We pine and beaver away.

We keep mute in the face of tyranny. We scamper away at the whiff of protest. Life isn't palatable but no cause is worth the vim. We accede to the roughshod and acquiesce to the impoverishment. Our lives take a mundane linear way of inactivity without a mutation in the offing. They will soon come to hoodwink, they will cajole with materialism, they will shanghai us into taking the propitiating decision of gifts and our woes amplify with vigour and rigour. The blood revolts, the air rebels, the sand pickets as we shout to the crescendo of our voice for a mutation of status quo.

Our lives seemingly are with them. So, they act with gay abandon as they wish. We live in abject poverty while they reside in exquisite luxuries. We need to be vocal and make sure that our voice are resoundingly heard. No matter of muffling and muzzling will hinder the vociferousness of our agitation for a segue from the hitherto of underdevelopment and frustration to the utopianism which might be illusive but achievable.

We are suffering. No doubt. We are suffering.
