FREE RAKEM BALOGUN

On Monday morning 12/11 at 5 am, the FBI and the ATF kicked Rakem Balogun’s door down and took him into custody, on a seek and destroy mission in search of illegal weapons. Since that day he has been held captive; essentially kidnapped by the F.B.I. with no court date.
The U.S government, through the F.B.I., has created a new “terrorist” classification known as “Black Identity Extremist” read: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/fbi-report-black-extremists-fears-of-targeting-police/. This conjured classification targets the political leadership of organizations like the Huey P Newton Gun Club and mirrors J. Edgar Hoover’s infamous COINTELPRO program of the 60’s and 70’s. Both programs were specifically designed to disrupt and destroy black political organizations from achieving real justice and equality.
Rakem and I last spoke by telephone in September, as he was going to provide additional security detail at my birthday and North Texas Country Island Fest event, but it was the same day as his Geronimo Tactical training. My first meeting with Rakem Balagun was our interview in 2015 to discuss the organization and ideology of the Huey P Newton Gun Club and it’s sister organization “Guerrilla MainFrame”. If you would like to see the mind and heart of a man they are holding unconstitutionally as a “Terrorist” then please watch our interview and understand that Rakem is a good person and my brother. He has 3 children and a queen who are depending on him, as well as a community for whom he has made remarkable sacrifices worthy of praise (not persecution). Rakem deserves the best representation he can get I am asking everyone out there to put your money where your mouth is and donate to his legal Defense committee (not tomorrow when you forget but now).
