Corporate Welfare Americas Lie
Whats wrong with America or should I say United States of Corporations. Amazon one of the biggest corporations in the America (#1 Retailer in America) is paying $0 in tax for 2017 they made $5.6 billion. Which means they should have paid $789 million in federal taxes. So, while everyone is getting their taxes done and finding out how much they have to pay IN Amazon is laughing all the way the bank. Jeff Bezos the CEO of Amazon has a net worth of $105 Billion. I’m not sure how Amazon would’ve survived if they would’ve paid there taxes like every other American. Amazon would only have $4.8 Billion left I guess they would’ve closed up shop. This is based off the tax plan that Trump signed into law. This is just one of many.
So, wandering whats next for Amazon well as we speak they have plans to build a 2nd headquarters which would be great for any local economy. Just one catch, it goes to the best qualified county in America. When I say best qualified, I mean the one that bribes them the most with payoffs and guaranteed tax exemptions.
So what could we do with $789 million. Well that’s enough to give every person in America $2.4 million probably not tax free but I’ll take it. How about buy homes for the 40,000 homeless vets. How about helping the schools that have no heat or books. Refunding teachers that spend their hard earned salaries for school supplies. Pick one theirs 789 million wrongs we could make right. So every time you want to get angry about public welfare remember corporate welfare is far more harmful to your pocket.

In 2015 these 27 Large corporations didn’t pay taxes while Obama was in office. This isn’t a Blue vs Red thing, goes to show now matter what administration is in the White House they will have their best interest at heart and not the peoples!
