Is the internet a copy of human behavior? Part 2
Libet and the FreeWill
Libet e o Livre Arbítrio
Now, something to bug our minds, the Libet's experiment. It's the common sense, and christian sense in a way, to say we have Free will since we reach a certain age of our lives. Hence, it's safe to say you upvote whatever you want, isn't it? You do vote and chose whoever you want, don't you? Well, I shall bring something to think about.
In the 1980's, Benjamin Libet, pioneer in neuroscience, commanded an experiment about choosing. The subject had to press a button, only when he/she wanted to, after a signal from a certain moment of a clock. It's simple in a way, but the "ace in the hole" (or how brazillians say "the cat leap") was the measuring of brain activity. It marked an brain activity before the actual moment of choosing of the subjects.
What we can really take from this experiment? That we have a secret brain that really rule us?Is it the bug of the Matrix? Well, in my humble view, we can conclude that the Free Will isn't absolute, probably we have more inner factors instead of what we've thought. The internet behaves in this way with us, we will never have an absolute equality on it, our group consciess will pre-choose before we do it, I do really believe (note that I'm saying believe since we're discussing something far way more deep than a post on Steemit) that we have this inner factor of pre-choosing on internet. Don't you think?
So, do you still believe in absolute Free Will?
Next time I'll talk about the Politcs and group's psychology. Keeping reading and comment so I'll know how to improve myself (and my rusty english)!
