Comment Censorship 101
She's the devil!
Has anyone else noticed the tiny trend transpiring across the major media outlets? I certainly have. The obvious lack of offering a “comments” section after the posting of some skewed piece of propoganda by a mainstream "journalist".
We’ll just SEO the hell out of this news tidbit, speak on behalf of whoever pays us, and regurgitate the lines that they want the people to believe.
An example popped up on me about a year ago now, and it's been irritated me ever since. Miss Alabama decided to weigh in on politics and show the Nation that her IQ was higher than her heels. She failed miserably however, and I wanted my two cents heard!
You probably don't know much about me if at all, so I'll squeeze me into this nutshell - I’m a non-partisan, Trump favoring, constitution supporting, red-blooded, meat eating, football watching, rock and roll and blues loving American… and I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if its obvious that you have no clue what you're talking about, feel free to spit it out if you're so inclined. So long as I / anyone who cares enough is allowed to comment! Back to the point...
If the media outlets are going to allow for biased reporting and unchecked editorials to be branded under their mainstream flagships, they had better allow for trolling, commentating, and open themselves up to any backlash that they may have incited. By not allowing for discussion to be had or for comments to be expressed, it is likely to be propoganda in most all instances. As I see it, cutting comments and public feedback is a borderline violation of free speech. Especially if the subject matter touches on politics, religion, or sex without allowing for a public forum to be had!
Speaking of public forums, if you're going to spout off about politics, religion, or sex, I was recently told that there's only one place to do so safely... Church! That’s right, according to the unwritten rules of proper socialization and political correctness set forth by some bastard or bastardette from the pre-mygrandparents era, the only place you can talk openly about sex, politics, and/or religion is church. I think the guy that told me that may have heard it from George Carlin, but I couldnt validate it. Apparently, Jesus loves both you and your opinions.
