This is where I started this part of my Journal, Panama.
While the western Hegemony continues to vilify and attempt to discredit Putin and Russia, Trump is working both sides of the room; driving everyone crazy.
While it is well known that Russia has a history of antagonizing the western Hegemony one cannot seriously believe that the western powers are any less ruthless.
Positing that individual civil rights is a Western European Hegemony mantra is disingenuous at best. It is however a mantra of U.S. Constitutionalists which unfortunately are becoming more and more irrelevant as the authority and power structure succumb to the Global Hegemony empowering the class war into second gear; making Trump's rise so refreshing to the Anti-Globalist / Nationalist. Imagine what the world could be like with Russia and The U.S. as partners instead of recreating old enemies and endless proxy wars.

Trump explained this very concept last Friday at a press conference announcing his Labor Department Cabinet pick; Alexander Acosta. A Reporter from the crowd, who was also named Acosta, asked about what the President is going to do about a Russian spy trawler in the Atlantic and Trump promptly exclaimed in the best third grader voice that he didn't have to tell him.... He's right though; he doesn't. He went on to mansplain that it's the media making it look as if he was unhinged and impossible to make a deal with, so the Russians crawled back into their comfort zone behavior. Then Trump said the same hypothetical I made on Christmas Eve. Fantasizing over the concept that we would be allies again. Possibly even better allies. Maybe Great Allies or simply not.
I can Imagine a world that never experienced WWI, WWII, the rise of the Soviet Union, the rise of Communist China; these were all possibly preventable had President Wilson invested in the White Russians who were fighting the Reds. WWI and WWII are basically seen as a successes, unless you're Jewish. Read Max Boot's Book “The Savage Wars Of Peace, Small Wars and The Rise of American Power” Chapter 9, Blood on the Snow Russia 1918-1920. The Soviet Union rose under a banner of communist utopia and fell under the pressures of stagnant production and cold winters with no heat. How can people still preach the benefits of straight welfare socialism?
